Quail Ridge and Confirmation

What a weekend! We were busy from Friday to Sunday night. Friday night, Amy and I did a trivia night for the library district. With us were the lovely couples Debbie and Tom, Steve and Denise, and Nick and June. We did OK, not wonderful, but the food was good and the company outstanding.

Then Saturday, Blake had confirmation at the Cathedral Basilica on Lindell. I also had a wedding at Quail Ridge for Jacob and Laura. So, I took some shots of Blake, saw him get confirmed by the Archbishop, then bolted out the door for the park.

Sunday night we went to the Music Man at St. Dominic H.S. It was a great production. The costuming was beyond compare, but it was hot in there. St. Dom is having a capital campaign for a new performing arts center, hopefully they will get one.

Corrie and Jason's Wedding

The Orf-Intelkofer wedding was a great time on a rainy day. The wedding was at St. Patrick Church in Wentzville. We took Corrie and Jason's pictures at the church, then we headed across the street to our studio. I kept thinking that a lot of the wedding party looked familiar, and it turned out that I had taken their photo out at the family barn. It was a nice day.

Election Results

Thanks to everyone who voted for me. I really appreciate it. It just goes to show that a lot of signs don't vote. My opponent had a lot of signs, I had about 8. Some of these dissappeared. The final count was 205 to 191. The sad part of this story is that we had 11% turn out to vote. Thanks to you 11% no matter how you voted.
