Meghan & Kirk's Wedding Album

I finally got their album done. I've had four wedding in the last two weekends. ahhh. I love doing weddings, but it takes a bit of time to design them. All the albums that I design are unique, so it takes more time to create them. Here is the album. It is located on their collage page. http://www.afterfourphoto.com/meghan_&_kirkland.htm

Happy Memorial Day

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. The Brinkley Family is having a busy weekend. I (Brian) had two weddings, KL had a sleepover at Megan's for her B-day, Blake spent the night at a friends and Amy was busy catching up on the work that she missed from having a great visit with her mom in Scott City. We (all of us) had a nice visit with the Jackson's (see Audrey's image above) and then I had a photo session at the Hawkins. A lot of family was over for Tony's graduation party and Peggy figured that it would be an ideal time for a family picture.

It was rainy, but after a short wait, the rain abated. We got some great images.

Meghan & Kirk's Wedding

The wedding of Kirk and Meghan was beautiful. It was a nice day. After we left the church , we took pictures at Fort Zumwalt Park. One of Wentzville's fire trucks came for a few shots. (Kirk is a Wentville Fireman) Here is their collage print. Here is the link to it on our homepage.

House Painting

We've been pretty busy as a family the last few weeks. We've been painting the house. I was a union painter for many years, so it is not really a big deal. I borrowed a paint truck from by brother Dan, ( His company along with my brother Steve, is Brinkley Painting.) and started spraying last Saturday evening. It seemed to take longer than I remembered, but maybe it was because Amy and KL don't tape off windows quite as fast at a painter would. Anyway we got it done spraying about 9:00PM. I had to have Aim get a light just to make sure I did't miss any spots at the last part of the house. (It was getting dark, ok not getting, but was dark.)

Sunday I trimmed out the windows in a darker color. (It was white, now a dark brown) The siding went from a blue to a kakhi kind of color. Amy and KL painted the front porch rails and pickets. One with a roller and the other with a brush. They were both covered by the end of the day, but so were the rails.
We are putting in a brick patio behind our deck, so Blake had the fun task of carring bricks. I keep telling him it builds character, so should have alot by now!

I still have to paint the facia boards, but maybey this next week I can do that.

My nephew Jared has helped me on some of the painting as well. His company is Brinkley Elite Painting. (brothers Jeff and Don are also owners)

I've been trying to get it done, but when I had time it decided to rain for a week, then I'd get busy. Aw, life.

Birthday Wishes

Today I am a man, well a 35 year old man anyway. It was a nice day. We ate at Ryan's for breakfast. Then for dinner we went to Alfredo Grill, in St. Charles. I got a new Ipod and the Simpsons 8th season on DVD. This was just what I needed. My old Ipod just died, so the new one was really needed. The new one is a video Ipod. I didn't think that I'd like that part of it but..... IT IS COOL!

The day spent with my wife and kids and mother was nice. It makes you appreciate life and what you have. I hope everyone has a good day, and a great mothers day.

Canvas Prints Coming Soon!

I'm getting ready to put an order in for some new canvas prints. These are gallery wrapped, meaning that the image is wrapped around the sides of the prints. They are really neat looking, and they save you $$ in the framing department.

Here is a blurb from my canvas printer:

Your portrait (image) will be printed on museum-quality canvas and hand stretched onto a custom-built, 1.5” thick wooden frame. The image will be gallery-wrapped, continuing around the sides of the frame for a beautiful print, ready to hang on your wall. No additional custom framing is needed.

Your print is made with the highest quality, archival inks that will never fade or discolor. Each
print is sprayed with a UV coating for added protection and a gloss-type finish.

In addition to our standard sizes, we can produce any size you desire. Please ask us about
custom sizes and shapes, whether it be a square or rectangle shape. Our canvas prints are
perfect for filling any large wall space in your home.

We should be getting our sample prints back in a copuple of weeks. I'll let you know when they get in.

Gulbarga Medical College

Monday I shot some images for a class reunion. This is a school in India, and one of it's alumni is high up in the government of India. Here is a picture of him and I. Dr. Rajashekara Reddy is his name. He is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The doctors and their families that I met were very nice. I got my first and second interduction into Indian cuisine. It is very tastey, but a bit on the hot side. I can't wait to try it again.
